The cabanas are owned and operated by Solarte & Rutilio Barqueño and his family Carmelita and Brenilda. 30$ per person per day includes homestay at our Eco-lodge. Trip, tours, and food are additional, but are very reasonable price:) Our 5 cabins are made of traditional Embera style housing type built on stilts whithout walls. There is no electrecity, but the are solar panels to charge any appliance. Water is treated for guest. Food is prepared with love and from farms of this subsistence. The space La Chunga is in a difficult access indigenous community without electricity or roads. Come see the gem of a community and the indigenous way life. You'll love this place because of the nature walks, the wildlife, the gastronomy, and the people. We have a number of guided tours and adventure. My place is good for adventures trying to see something new and exciting. Your stay in our cabin will enjoy our indigenous culture our traditional typical food of Embera.
