The villa features indoor-outdoor living with 5 large lounge and dining decks and sun patio - all accessible from the villas interior. The interior living area has comfortable couches with free Wi-Fi, a Flat smart screen TV with a Netflix subscription. The uniquely styled kitchen area, with a large island counter top and bar stools, is set up nicely with kitchenware for those wishing to self cater. Enjoy cooking to an amazing view of Savusavu bay and Nawi Island from the kitchen windows. The villa has a separate dressing room area leading to a rest room and a shower room with an incredible view. ❁ DINING Dining at KOKO Savusavu is an intimate and memorable experience. Using seasonal local produce and recipes inspired by Fiji’s tropical culture, our menu focuses on fresh & fragrant cuisine. We adopted the 'Care Fiji Commitment' programme; a WHO-approved standard of best-practice health and safety measures designed to align Fiji’s tourism industry to safe travel norms in a post-COVID world. ❀ RAINWATER KOKO villa runs on 100% rainwater harvesting. We request guests be mindful of this precious natural resource. When water is low during the dry season we may experience lower water pressure. ❁ ELECTRICITY The villa runs in Energy Fiji Ltd power that is a diesel generator for the whole of the Savusavu area. Please accept Fiji is a developing country and the occasional scheduled or unscheduled power outages may occur in our location at Naveria Heights, it’s super rare but it can happen, such as scheduled generator repair or unscheduled when a coconut tree falls on power lines or . For various reasons, we do not store a backup generator as we do not have onsite staff to manage it. Guest access As the only guests, you will enjoy full access to our completely private 3.4 acre property with exclusive use of the villa, infinity swimming pool and grounds. It is important to note a few details: MOUNTAIN ROAD The main mountain road and our driveway to the villa requires a confident driver. It is not for the faint hearted. It is a graded gravel road, steep in parts and only suited for 4WD (4 wheel drive). It is easy to hire a 4WD vehicle or book 4WD Taxi's in advance and we provide contact numbers for guests. A local company also offer KOKO guests a special day rate. Most guests opt for hiring a car for freedom to explore all the hidden adventure gems for themselves, which i help you find :) EXCLUSIVE TO GUESTS ONLY KOKO is exclusive only to Guests that are part of the booking . No other visitors are allowed. This is a very strict rule to maintain privacy for all future guests enjoyment. KOKO MAX the dog KOKO has proudly adopted MAX, a highly intelligent and well-trained German Shepherd who now calls our 3.5-acre villa grounds his home. Max was unable to be bred due to a tumour, but we rescued him and ensured he received the care he needed. His super chilled and friendly nature has quickly made him a favourite among our guests and enhancing a restful night’s sleep amidst the natural surroundings of the villa. As part of this introduction to KOKO we have created Bahamas style gates to the decking entry steps and MAX has been trained not to enter the guests deck or villa. House-keeping can be easily timed while you enjoy KOKO breakfasts on the deck and a turn down service is timed for guests dining with us in the evenings. (Please appreciate it does not necessarily include excess dishwashing after self catering guests cook up a storm :) ❁ EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT Due to the maintenance schedule of the villa we may not be able to facilitate extensions to listed check-in and check-out times, however, we do our best to help guests who have early arrival and late afternoon departure flights, whenever possible. Please enquire close to your arrival time or during your stay. ❀ SWIMMING POOL Maintenance. There maybe instances during stays longer than 3 or 4 days that require the pool to be attended to by our pool man. Our staff would pre-arrange a suitable time with you. If the pool needs extra attention at ant time, our staff are also trained to clean or rebalance the pool if required. ❁ LOCATION KOKO Savusavu is just a few minutes away from Savusavu, a lively little sailing township nestled in Natewa Bay on Vanua Levu, Fiji's second largest island known as 'The Friendly North'. Savusavu is a renowned luxury destination just 1-hour from Nadi International Airport with Fiji Airways. Your adventure begins with a picturesque flight over beautiful tropical reefs and outer smaller Islands on route to experience 'The Real Fiji'. ❀ FLIGHTS From Nadi International airport to Savusavu airport - Fiji Airways (Domestic Fiji Link) flies once or twice daily. Savusavu Airport is only 10 mins drive to KOKO Savusavu Villa. It's worth booking your flights to Savusavu, as you get decent early specials and they are only 16 seater planes, so can get booked up. The other route is via Labasa airport which is a about a 1.5 to 2 hr taxi to Savusavu. ❁ GUESTS with a CHILD KOKO Savusavu's Airbnb rates are for lodging only for 2 adults (and one child upon request). Due to the open nature of the infinity pool, KOKO Savusavu is not really suitable for toddlers and it is compulsory that any child staying or visiting can swim or wears a suitable floatation device and is always under adult supervision. We have x2 toddler floatation suits at the villa. ❀ NON SMOKING The villa's interior is strictly non smoking. ❁ WATER Filtered Drinking water will be provided daily. The villa's water supply is rain-water. ❀ WIFI The villa has 4G wifi with good reception and streams well on the smart TV Netflix service. ❀ PHONE A landline telephone is provided with complimentary local calls. ❁ TOURIST MOBILE SIM If you don’t want to use international roaming, it is also easy to get a local Tourist Mobile Sim Card at Nadi airport from Digicel or Vodafone just as you come out of customs arrivals. It is a deep mattress with a topper for comfort.
