The space overlooks the lush jungle and is ideal for guests wanting a relaxed, natural environment, exploring the Mountain Pine Ridge area, and/or wanting proximity to San Ignacio and Santa Elena. Access to the Modern Jungle View loft rooms is via the ladder. We facilitate a variety of onsite "grab-before-you-go" adventure tours (we offer special discounts to our overnight guests). Calico Jack's is situated in a natural habitat and, accordingly, there is an abundance of flora and fauna, a creek, swimming hole and dry caves and many hiking trails to explore. The property boasts more than 250 varieties of birds including humming birds that you can see gathering nectar as you stroll from your room to the restaurant and bar area or lounge poolside. As concerns food, we specialize in vegetarian and local cuisine and we also offer poultry and fish options. We offer a daily dinner special at a low cost. Our farm produces, fruits, plants and herbs that we use in the preparation of delicious and fresh food and beverages. Guest access Our guests have access to our restaurant, lounge area and also to our swimming pool on a complimentary basis. We have a full-service restaurant and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We offer a variety of tours on site and special discounts to our overnight guests that allow them to access much of our 353-acre property if this is of interest. These activities include bird watching, hiking trails to the creek or to the dry caves used by the Maya for their sacred rituals, zip lining over and through the jungle canopy as well as Sunset safari and night zip lining. If you really like adventure take our CJV Extreme tour which combines zip lining with a jungle jump, parrot walk, rope ladder challenge and gives you the option to return on our 500-foot run super(wo)man style. Ride El Columpio our jungle swing for a unique jungle view. Relax poolside and enjoy a Belikin beer or join us in fireside story-telling and games or stress reducing activities such as face yoga, yoga stretches and deep breathing techniques. Calico Jack’s has excellent offsite proximity to all of the attractions in the Mt. Pine Ridge area including Barton Creek Cave, Caracol and Rio on The Pools, Xunantunich, Cahal Pech, and ATM. We are about a 30 minute drive from the twin towns of San Iganacio—Santa Elena allowing guests proximity to these areas as well as all of the benefits of lodging in an authentic jungle habitat. ntic jungle habitat.
