If your dates are taken, we have two other boutique studios. The space The Love Shack is no ordinary holiday home, it’s an adventurous escape for couples looking for something a little different. Located on a quiet hillside near Muri Beach (10–15 min walk, 5 min by car/bike), this timber-built studio features 18m² of indoor living and over 130m² of private, multi-level decking surrounded by tropical garden. Stay cool with air-conditioning and a fan, and enjoy a compact but well-equipped kitchen with a 4-burner gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, blender, espresso machine, and even a washing machine, all tucked behind sleek cabinetry. Step outside to your own splash pool, relax in the private BBQ area, or unwind in the outdoor bath under the stars. This studio has a separate toilet building and a private outdoor shower, there’s no indoor bathroom, so if you love open-air living, this one’s for you. Linen, towels, and beach towels are all provided. Best suited for romantic escapes, honeymoons, or travellers who love a unique and private space. Car or scooter hire is recommended. Guest access Check-in is from 2pm | Check-out by 10am Enter the Love Shack via the private sliding door at the back, your main access point with key. The front bi-fold doors open from the inside only and connect to stairs leading to the coral path below. You’ll have full access to the splash pool, outdoor kitchen, and all decking. The property includes two other Airbnb units, but your space is private and self-contained. Located a 10–15 minute walk or 5-minute drive to Muri Beach. WiFi is included. A car or scooter is recommended. Depending on bookings, we may be able to offer early check-in or late check-out for an additional fee. Other things to note The Love Shack is a handcrafted hut in paradise, ideal for adventurous couples seeking something a little different. If you need a fully enclosed bathroom or prefer not to walk outside to the toilet and open-air shower, this may not be the right space for you. Travellers, please note: When flying to the Cook Islands from Auckland or Sydney, you’ll cross the International Dateline. Please double-check your itinerary, especially arrival date and time, to avoid confusion. If your flight arrives early in the morning or departs late at night, we recommend booking the night before or adding an extra night for ease and comfort. Luggage drop-off may be possible, let us know in advance. Finding us: Addresses are not commonly used here.
