Leavenworth Country Stay

STR #000065 Spring is Here! We are all enjoying the warmer weather and the wildflowers are about to burst-they may have by time you read this! This is a great time to get out walking and soon hiking in the higher country. The birds are so busy, singing and settling down to nesting time. Don't forget Bird Fest in May! Town is still quiet now in early Spring, so it's a great time to visit Leavenworth before schools let out and the many visitors arrive. The space The space is a daylight basement in a log home. There is a private bath and bedroom with a queen size bed, appointed in an antique style. You will have exclusive access to a large living room with TV, a couch, a comfortable futon/bed, table, chairs and kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a toaster oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and water dispenser with both cold and piping hot water. Note: no inside stove. Beautiful patio with large table (sits 6) and bar b que grill with side burner. The space is full of artwork, some of which is by the owner who is a well-known local artist. Guest access You will have access to our laundry room if needed and the 36 foot private swimming pool from late May to early Sept. You will have access to a covered patio with bar b que and table with chairs. Our horses love to be pet! Other things to note We offer a pool for our summer guests mid May-first week in Sept. There are trails, biking, lakes & rivers to float or swim. You can rent horses nearby or zipline in Plain. Saturday morning there is a seasonal farmers' market in Plain as well. Of course, Leavenworth is a short 15 minutes with shopping, art, restaurants and summer theatre. Snow shoeing, sledding, Nordic and even a small downhill ski hill in Leavenworth. Nordic skiing is great in Plain, just 10 minutes away!
