Quiet Cottage

This is a private guest cottage that has all the amenities needed for a nice, relaxing stay, in a quiet, secluded environment. The space The cottage comes with a TV/DVD player upstairs in the loft and a queen size bed. Downstairs there is a sitting area with an electric fireplace, a sofa that can become a bed and an accompanying stuffed chair. The kitchen area has a drop leaf table with 4 folding chairs, microwave, toaster, hot plate, waffle iron, electric skillet, electric hot water kettle, a coffee maker, and an under the counter refrigerator. The kitchen has some basic spices beyond salt and pepper, coffee and a variety of teas. Plates, cups, and utensil can be found in the cabinets and on the shelves. The bathroom has a stall shower, toilet, hair dryer, set of towels for each person. There is hot and cold water. Upon request we make available the following: a gas grill, a fire pit with Adirondack chairs (located between main house and cottage), and a single person hammock swing (which hangs and swings on the front porch). Guest access When coming up Damascus street, keep to the right at the fork in the road and proceed to the white house with black shutters and greenish door. Stay to the left and park on the leveled gravel area between the 2 big oak trees where the Quiet Cottage sign is. The cottage can be seen past the house on the far side of the yard. There is a gravel path to use from the cottage to the parking area. If you come in during the evening there are lights that light the walkway for you. Other things to note Our little hideaway lends itself to relaxation. That being said we ask that no incense or candles be burned in the cottage. Our cat Max are quite hospitable, however they are outside animals and need to stay outside. They understand this, but will come in if invited, lol. We are pleased to say we have recently partnered with Healing Hands Mobile Massage & Studio. It is best if you plan ahead as they are in high demand, especially on the weekends.
