Other things to note HISTORY OF THE FARM Welcome to Quinta das Fontes, dating back to 1904. It all started in 2004 when the entire space was still in ruins. It was a labor of love and dedication to this space, which had as its main objective to be a family retreat, to receive friends and family. The work done by our family was so driven by curiosity and admiration of the discoveries made on the property, that everything was done by our hands. In 2016, thinking of a name for the farm, the first fountain was built. And then more fountains appeared, in a land abundant in water. And so came the fifth of the fountains. We live very good times here with family and friends, we want to keep this spirit and dust, we want to keep this spirit and offer it to those who visit us. And that's how we opened up to the world and to those who want to visit us. We love to receive We have prepared the outdoor space to delight those who visit us, with barbecue, swimming pool, fish pond, natural pool fed with water from a mine, pure and crystalline. Around the farm there are many corners where you can hear the birds and frogs. The farm has a chalet that sleeps 8 people. It is fully equipped to have every comfort. Here there is never a lack of things to do, there are traditional games, knitting, ropes, spinning tops, cards, monkeys, sack racing, among others... Within the farm itself are 13 hectares, where you can go for walks, without ever losing sight of the north. Always with a view of the wonderful Serra da Arada, São Macário and … You will find groves of large trees, pines, oaks, cork oaks, strawberry trees, chestnut trees, cherry trees, walnut trees... an olive grove where we produce our olive oil. Our farm is ideal for families and groups of friends. But it is also a space where weddings, baptisms, birthday parties can take place, against the backdrop of a natural setting, which never disappoints. We are also open to cultural partners, holding exhibitions, workshops, small musical concerts...
