The space Welcome to our spacious one-bedroom accessible apartment that comfortably accommodates up to a maximum of two (2) people sleeping in the King-sized bed with a Tempur-Pedic memory foam mattress, and the convenience of a washer and dryer with complimentary laundry soap. There is a television with Roku for streaming in the bedroom and one in the living room. This exceptionally well-insulated building is designed for consistent temperatures year-round, without the drafty, uneven temperatures that can be common in conventionally built structures. Plus, guests control the thermostat setting so you enjoy your stay in complete comfort. Our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, including a coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, blender, stainless steel cookware, dishes, utensils, seasonings, full-size refrigerator and stove/oven. Whether you’re whipping up pancakes and eggs for breakfast or roasting a whole chicken or roast beef for dinner, you’ll have all the tools to cook with ease and enjoy meals. (We even provide a full size pair of scissors and a needle and thread too.) The very large bathroom is fully accessible, featuring a 4' x 5' marble roll-in shower, a shower seat, and grab bars. A Rinnai on-demand hot water heater ensures multiple back-to-back showers without waiting for a traditional tank to refill. "On-demand" means hot water is always available whenever needed. We encourage you to send us the location of a point of interest, and we will respond with the distance from the apartment. There are two apartments in the building with separate private entrances. If you book a stay of 31 nights or more, there is no 6% state room tax and no 5% Chester County tax, resulting in an 11% savings. Guest access Safe, off street free private parking during your visit, and your accommodations are wheelchair accessible. There is a walkway with a slight incline on the west side of the building (to your right when facing the building), featuring a wooden handrail that leads to the apartment entrance. Motion-sensor lighting provides added convenience and security. If you are traveling with a large vehicle, please let us know in advance so we can advise you on where to park. The home is situated away from the main road on a flag lot surrounded by trees, shrubs and fencing, ensuring a safe and quiet environment. Feel free to come and go as you please. Check-in is 3 PM. The lockbox with key is on the wall to the right of the entry way door and provides safe, easy access anytime day or night. Other things to note If you’re looking for a "NON-tourist" shopping experience in Pennsylvania Dutch Country our property is a short drive to farms and local craft shops. There is 24/7 police protection for the community (- call 911), an urgent care center and a pharmacy located 12-14 minutes away by car.
