We offer self check-in to your very own private space on the edge of the city, nestled under soaring 200 year old oaks in a quiet neighborhood- less than 15 min from the hustle of downtown Victoria and world famous Butchart Gardens! Our open concept cottage boasts vaulted ceilings, skylights, TV, laundry, free parking- everything for a relaxing retreat! The space The house is completely self-contained, private space. It is spacious (800 sq. feet), clean, bright and well appointed- featuring vaulted ceilings and a large, full height open loft. You can expect quiet nights and total privacy in your own separate space. Sitting in the living room you can stare up through the skylights to the 100 foot oak trees that reach around and over the house...or, perhaps just curl up on the sectional and watch TV or play XBox on the 42" plasma screen. The space is fully equipped with all the soaps, towels, linens, toilet paper, dishes and utensils you will likely need. We also provide complimentary coffee, tea to get you started. If you need something just ask- we likely have it right next door! Each bedroom has a queen size bed with black-out blinds, a brand new mattress and luxurious microfiber sheets. Throw carpets over hardwood floors create a warm inviting space. Dressers and closets are available to tuck things away. The master bedroom is off the main floor with the second bedroom, office area and laundry facilities upstairs in the spacious loft. The 3rd bed is a single mattress, tucked neatly under the loft's queen size bed. The 4th bed is a comfy pull out queen bed in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size fridge and freezer and farmhouse sink. Views of the back garden and 12 foot ceilings flood the space with light. You can choose to eat at the separate dining table or use the stools at the kitchen island and enjoy the view. French doors lead to a small back patio with seating for 2 so you can enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. If you are bringing kids then they will love the 3 tree swings right out the back door. Our family friendly hound doesn't see that well- so she might bark at you at first, but she is quick to make new friends! If dogs are not your thing then let us know and we'll happily keep her away as much as possible. Guest access The whole space is yours to enjoy, including the small rear patio area adjacent to the house. A custom door code is created for each visit and provided in advance so you can check-in and out on your own schedule, whenever it is convenient for you! Other things to note The second bedroom and office are upstairs and tucked away from the main living area. It is a private space, but not separated by an actual door. Also, please note there is a large friendly Irish Wolfhound roaming the backyard.
