Description
The cottage is surrounded by its original dry stone fencing and fuscia hedge. The cottage gardens are complimented by a terrace that over looks the rushing stream below. From here you can enjoy the natural setting from the new hot tub. On the inside, you are embraced by its charm and with all of the modern amenities it is the perfect place to call home while exploring the treasures of the southwest. The space As you enter through the traditional Irish double door, you are greeted by a beautiful rustic stone fireplace and soaring ceilings. All floors are gleaming pine and slate. The hearth room is probably the most typical with its cozy hearth side bench. The adjoining sitting room is a great place to curl up on the sofa and read while enjoying the views of the emerald green hills. This sofa also folds out to accommodate two guests. Enjoy the TV and VCR from here as well. There is a bedroom off this room with a double bed and Gothic coat press (armoire), a perfect place for clothing storage. Above the sitting room is a loft bedroom that overlooks the fireplace and has a single bed. The main bedroom is off of the kitchen and has a King bed and ensuite shower/w.c. Its views are of the ravine and front garden. The large cottage kitchen is the heart of the home. With its red Aga style cooker (stove) and Belfast farm sink, it will make cooking your meals enjoyable. It also is equipped with a dishwasher. The antique farm table seats up to eight guests. The lobby off of the kitchen overlooks the gardens and ravine. This will lead you out to the terrace. The main bath is off the lobby as well and features a rain shower and Jacuzzi tub.
