Dungbeetle River Lodge

Offering safari-style accommodations, this lodge is located right on the banks of the Sundays River. The terrace decks offer far-reaching river views. Each of the spacious rooms and suites at Dungbeetle River Lodge is equipped with a private bathroom and coffee/tea facilities. Guest can relax in the seating area with a drink from their mini-bar. Every morning, a breakfast that includes fresh, home baked breads, yogurt, eggs, bacon and freshly prepared fruit juice, is served on the terrace, which overlooks the river. Various bird species can be viewed from this terrace. Dungbeetle River‘s reception can arrange tours to the Addo Elephant National Park, just 2.2 mi away. They can also reserve a shuttle service to Port Elizabeth Airport, a 30-minute drive away. This air-conditioned suite has a seating area with a cable TV, a mini-bar, fridge and a tea-and-coffee maker. Each has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries.
