The Station features Colt's Burger Bar (grass-fed burgers with no hormones or antibiotics), 3 unique tasting rooms (hard cider, wine & chocolate, beer) and 5 fun shops. Roll out of bed and walk next-door to this hip destination with great food, 3 tasting rooms and five fun shops. Although we have live music during the day on Sundays and several tasting rooms, The Loft is private. Our place is very family oriented and things usually wind down around 7 pm (which is later than most places in Julian!). We just added a new SMART TV and we have unlimited fiber optic internet Wi-Fi access for watching movies on Netflix, Youtube, etc. Just to be clear, though, we do not have cable TV. Just Netflix and YouTube. Although we allow up to 10 people, there are only beds spaces for 7 including a very comfortable KING SIZE air mattress with built in pump that fits in living room. Additional guests would have to sleep on air mattresses or on the floor in sleeping bags. Guest access Access to all of the Julian Station (open Thursday-Monday), in addition to everyday access to Julian Station grounds including the front and back patio's, the oak grove picnic area and the community garden field. Guests may also take walks down the scenic Orchard Ln. This beautiful stroll takes you past a 400+ acre horse ranch, a sheep and goat ranch, several ponds and breathtaking mountain views. Other things to note The Loft is located on rural Hwy. 78. Although relatively quiet in the mornings and evenings, the highway can be busy during peak weekend hours. The back patio is always a beautiful and quiet place to relax anytime day or night. Pets must be leashed at all times when walking about the Julian Station grounds (we just had a guest's dog attack our neighbors donkey -- not a good situation for us or the donkey!).
