We live next door, so if you need anything, we're a courtyard away! Please park on the gravel driveway and not in the street. We are able to accommodate moving vans, RVs and other vehicles, but the entrance to the driveway is narrow, so take care and swing wide! We love to meet new people and have been known to pull up a chair and wine with our guests; we've also never personally met some of them! Each experience is different and completely up to you how much interaction we have. We offer self-entry upon arrival for your convenience, and we will try to come say hello if it's convenient or if we see you outside. We fully respect your privacy during your stay. It can be difficult to describe our location because it feels like you're in the country, but you're really only minutes away from major Kansas tourist destinations, including the Sporting KC and Monarchs stadiums and Azura Amphitheater concert venue. We are 20 minutes from downtown KCMO, 20 to the airport, 25 to Fort Leavenworth and 30 to Lawrence, home of The University of Kansas. The farmhouse has a backdrop of prairie grassland for embarking on an outdoor adventure or just watching the sun set with a glass of wine on the back deck--with no houses on the horizon to interfere. It's quiet, secure and private. We live next door, so if you need anything, we're only a courtyard away! There is plenty of private, off-street parking on the property. Public transportation is spotty, with some bus service available at Walmart and The Legends. Uber and Lyft are in the area for more convenient pick-up and drop-off.
