Oceanfront Cottage in Lamoine ME overlooking MDI

Enjoy Downeast Maine at our fully furnished and heated 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath cottage. Fronted on Eastern Bay off Frenchman Bay and close to Acadia National Park, the cottage is located halfway between Lamoine State Park and Lamoine Beach with excellent views of Mt. Desert Island. The shore in front of the cottage is a combination of rock, sand, shells, and seaweed. The tide rises approximately 11 feet and it is about 1 1/4 miles across to the island shore. A short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The space The cottage is next to our family cottage on four quiet acres. Sanddollar Alley is a dead end street. Guest access Additional State of Maine 9% lodging tax is required at check in time. There is no cleaning fee. Bookings must begin and conclude on a Saturday. Other things to note Booking from Saturday until Saturday, seven day blocks. There is a fresh water pond in town for swimming that used to be the town water supply . The ocean water is cold but refreshing (this is Maine, after all).
