Artist's Home In a quiet neighborhood, this is the walkout level of an artist's home and features paintings, art supplies, and interesting artifacts. On the ground floor, there are no steps. It has its own private entrance, fenced yard, patio, and off street parking. The space includes a spacious living room with futon, cable TV/wifi, dining area with table for 6, kitchenette with a number of cooking options, nice bathroom, bedroom with comfortable queen size bed, and laundry facilities. The space Cooking equipment includes a convection oven, induction cook top, microwave, sink, small refrigerator, coffee maker, tea kettle, crock pot, rice maker/steamer, and popcorn popper. There are some basic staples on the shelves. The living room has a wireless wifi, cable TV/AmazonPrime, CD player, 4 leather lounge chairs and futon. The kitchen table seats 6 and works well as a work station. I will provide items for a simple do-it-yourself breakfast (granola, oatmeal, milk, yogurt, fruit). The bath has a full size tub/shower with grab bar. The bedroom includes a queen size bed, large closet, dresser, luggage rack, ironing board/iron. There are extra sheets, towels, quilts and blankets. There are several charging units. Guest access You have access to a washer and dryer. If you have a small dog, let me know as pets may be negotiated. Art supplies are included for you to use to explore your creativity. A CD player and guided imagery CDs, as well as aromatherapy items are here for your use. Board games and a variety of playing cards are included. Other things to note It is a short drive to downtown with its unique brew pubs, museums, theaters, Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo College, Kalamazoo Institute of Art and lots of interesting restaurants. Close by is Kalamazoo Valley Community College and more restaurants, pubs, shopping, and grocery stores. Al Sabo Land Preserve has 750 acres with many trails and is about a mile away and near Texas Township Park.
