Farmhouse Retreat Among the Trees

This property is suitable for pets (dogs and cats) up to 30lbs. The main home has an attached apartment and pets must stay in the attached apartment area. When unattended they need to be secured and comfortable in a crate (which the owner of the pets will bring and provide). Pets are not allowed in the main house. We have carpet in the main home and want to keep the home allergy free for other guests. We are doing this as a service to all our pet loving friends. :) Please respect the rules. The space Beds in the house: 3 King beds, 6 twin beds, 5 Queen beds, 4 trifold sleeping pads: Cooking: Double Ovens, 6-burner stove, a warming oven, and a double door refrigerator and fridge in the studio apartment. Dining: seats 20 people inside at the long dining table, bar, and breakfast nook. Back patio seats 12-16 at 2 picnic tables and 12-16 more at log benches surrounding an outdoor firepit. Kids: 2 Pack n Plays and High Chairs on site, and a swingset in the backyard. Guest access You will have access to the upstairs and downstairs of the house (the cellar is off limits), the cement back patio, the swing set, the backyard fire pit and log benches, and the upstairs and downstairs laundry facilities. You can also access the lawn halfway between the cottage toward the east. Note: for their safety, any pets should remain on a leash when outside—the road out front has heavy Farm trucks that can’t easily stop to miss any pets that wander into the road. Other things to note We have a separate A/C wall unit in the studio apartment. You will love being in the country and enjoying the outdoors but plan to bring groceries before you come since a grocery store is 12 miles away. We provide a coffee maker. We provide a large television downstairs, 3 smaller televisions in different sleeping areas. We do not have cable. Most guests login into their respective streaming services to watch their desired entertainment.
