Casita Serena - a quiet retreat

A calm oasis in east-central Phoenix, Casita Serena is 10 min. N of PHX Sky Harbor Airport. Convenient alley access with a private parking space, a comfortable queen bed, walk-in shower, kitchenette, & a breakfast bar. Your private outdoor seating area is a perfect place to enjoy a cuppa, journal, or cap the day with a glass. The unheated pool & spa are shared with the homeowners. Casita Serena has 2 TVs with Roku to access your streaming accounts. STR-2024-004910 The space Casita Serena and the private outdoor seating area are all yours during your stay. The pool and spa (shared with homeowners) are yours to use as well. The pool is not heated. The spa is available for use year-round. Respectfully, smoking, additional guests, pets (including ESAs), parties, and events are NOT OKAY with us. We love hosting you, but this is our home, not a hotel. This property cannot be used for purposes identified in the City of Phoenix Ordinance Section 10-195(c). The City of Phoenix short-term permit number for this property is STR-2023-000979. Guest access Access Casita Serena from the alley on the south side of the property. Look for the red tile roof on the north side of the alley. Your private parking space is located here. If you arrive via rideshare, you'll be dropped off in front of the main house. Head to the backyard to access Casita Serena. Gate and separate entry codes will be provided to you before your arrival. Other things to note Absolutely NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND is allowed in or near Casita Serena. The entire property is non-smoking. IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: NO DIVING ALLOWED IN THE POOL. The deepest part of the pool is only 4-feet deep. Also, NO GLASS is allowed in the pool/spa area. We pride ourselves on providing a clean and tidy place to stay. Please remove your shoes upon entering Casita Serena. To the right of the entrance, you'll find a shoe tray and house slippers for your convenience. We take extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Heating & Air Conditioning: You are in the desert! Please do not expect the hard-working unit to cool the space below 74° when it is over 100° outside. See the Welcome Binder on the breakfast counter for tips to keep Casita Serena cool in the summer months. The cooling and heating in the living room are adjusted by remote control. You'll find the remote control on the shelves under the wall unit. In the bedroom, cooling and heating are controlled by the remote next to the bed. PLEASE HELP SAVE ON ENERGY COSTS BY TURNING THE HEAT TO 65°- OR THE A/C TO 78°+ WHEN YOU ARE OUT AND ABOUT EXPLORING. Casita Serena has 2 televisions with Roku. Cable television and local broadcast are NOT included. You will need your own video streaming account (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon) to watch television. IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: NO DIVING ALLOWED IN THE POOL. The deepest part of the pool is only 4-feet deep. Also, NO GLASS is allowed in the pool/spa area. The pool and spa are shared spaces. The pool is not heated but may be used at any time. Instructions to turn on the spa are included in the house manual and binder on the breakfast counter. The spa is available year-round, but heating it is expensive for us. Please only heat it when you are going to use it.
