Children will love the lizards and Chuckwalla iguanas. In summer, often bats fly elaborate patterns over the pool at twilight which is a sight to behold. There is a large motor court where large vehicles on an RV may park. For groups over four guests, a security deposit is required for use of the spa. Guests must shower before using the spa, removing any body lotion or suntan lotion that will pollute the filtration system and require the spa maintenance man to make a special trip to clean the spa filters. Pool and spa are for private use of contracted guests only. Mid-April and early May to late September are the months ideal for swimming. Guest will lock the pool gate upon departure to ensure that children do not have access. By county regulation, dogs are not allowed in the pool area. Only the number of guests designated in our Villa Rental Agreement will be allowed to stay at the villa. Permission and fees for larger social events must be secured from the owner. Best to keep the doors closed after twilight because nocturnal desert animals, kangaroo rats, and reptiles can enter the house. There are bees in the rose garden and occasionally at the swimming pool. There are rodents, spiders, ants, scorpions, kangaroo rats, reptiles, rattlesnakes, Big Horn sheep, and a bobcat in the area and you must take necessary precautions. No rental money will be refunded for encounters and problems with wildlife. There is no refund due to bad weather, mice, rats, or lizards entering the house, or for cancellation, late arrival, or early departure. During spring, summer, and fall, when walking in the park or in the garden, one should watch the ground to avoid snakes. It is rare to see one, and most are harmless constrictors and beautiful to behold. One should not go barefoot outside the house because of thorns in the ground. Children should not remove stones that are placed around the property which protect the irrigation emitters. If a stone is removed, it is easy to trip and break the irrigation so that when the water is automatically turned on ll the water escapes at that one point and no other plants receive any water. You are renting a magnificent garden that can be appreciated for its beauty throughout the changing seasons. The owner has maintenance specialists on call for any problem. If a problem arises, the guests should immediately call the owner and he will quickly respond.
