Historic Atwater Village Fantasy Bungalow

Our two-bedroom Egyptian Revival home was built in 1928 and we've been lovingly restoring it over the last decade. The home includes many antique period fixtures that highlight the dramatic arches and coved ceilings indicative of the whimsical architecture flare of the time. We are very happy to host airbnb guests with multiple ID verifications and several positive reviews from currently listed properties. The space According to the Los Angeles Conservancy, the eighteen “Fantasy Bungalows" located in Atwater Village are part of “the most architecturally distinct parts of Atwater, and Los Angeles." Our Egyptian Revival bungalow built in 1928 has been lovingly restored over the last several years and includes many antique period fixtures that highlight the dramatic arches and coved ceilings. Tastefully decorated with classic mid-century furnishings, the home also showcases beautifully framed classic film posters that acknowledge the cinematic "golden era" and Hollywood's connection to this region. Atwater Village is centrally located for easy access to Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena and the LA River bike path. Our home is in easy walking distance to all of the vibrant restaurants, shops, coffee houses, etc. that are located on Glendale and Los Feliz Boulevards. We are about a 10 minute walk to the Glendale Metrolink stop at the Glendale Train Station. In addition, we have several convenient bus lines on Brunswick Ave. and/or at the intersections of Brunswick Ave. and Los Feliz Blvd, or Brunswick Ave. and Glendale Blvd. We've also utilized the Los Angeles River bike path to bike to eateries and parks in Elysian Park, Echo Park, Silver Lake, Los Feliz, Griffith Park, etc. After an initial welcome and walkthrough, we will be as present as you need us to be during your stay.
