This cabin is for Lovers! Our original cabin is still my favorite with great views, a porch swing and hot tub on the back deck. Enjoy the deep "cuddle couch" while watching the flames from the MCM cone fireplace and create your own sizzle! Very popular for guests celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. *Please check my other listings. I have 3 other cabins on the same property. The cabins are about 70 feet apart. All have similar amenities but different decor. I’m really happy to host ya’ll. This is the best job I’ve ever had. I get to create a fun & relaxing space for you to celebrate love, take some "Me time", unplug, go fishin, go hiking (the AT is right next door!!), vist the ancient thermal waters (6 minutes away!), or chill out in your own hot tub and look at the stars. I’ve been really lucky that I've had mostly excellent folks like yourselves come to stay at our cabins and share their joy and love for the place and each other! So thanks, its super personal to me. So as long as you're excellent people you are welcome at Hot Springs Treehouse Cabins, NC. That includes our canine guests too. This is the original treehouse cabin on the property and was hand-built by Larry, the original owner. He milled the trees on the property to build this cabin to create its unique hardwood floors and bed frame. This cabin has 1 queen bed and indoor gas fireplace. There is strong reliable fiber optic wifi, and ROKU TV but the real gem is waiting outside on the deck. Cabin 1's deck has a cathedral roof, a porch swing, bistro table and chairs, gas grill and hot tub. This cabin is ideally suited for 1 couple. If you have more than 2 people I would suggest our family Treehouse cabin #2 which can sleep 4-6 adults comfortably. We have 4 cabins in total with similar amenities, all about 70-80 feet apart so we can accommodate the whole family but still provide privacy. This cabin comes equipped with a full kitchen including an oven, microwave, and small fridge. There is also a kettle, drip coffee maker, french press, coffee bean grinder, toaster, and a variety of pots, pans (including cast iron), baking dishes and just about everything you would need to cook for yourself. There are some great restaurants in town too! *We have opened up a trail down to our swimming hole on Spring Creek at the bottom of our 13 acre property. There is a map to the trail in your cabin and also found in your cabin manual. Like all creeks and rivers, the water current and levels change with rain. Swim at your own risk. As we are located on a mountain the trail is quite steep and can be slippery if wet and covered with leaves. Please use caution and read the trail signs before going down. *In the spring of 2021 we built a 24'x24' platform we refer to as the "Serenity Platform". It was built as a safe outdoor gathering space for our guests. Next to it is our communal fire pit. I love to bring my coffee down to the deck and watch the sunrise or the stars. (check star guides for meteor showers). We encourage you to use the space for whatever feels peaceful. The Serenity Platform is located just a short walk below our cabins. We have a map in the guest folder indicating how to get there. Please remember to "pack out what you pack in". Guest access The entire cabin and communal areas like the Serenity Platform and firepit aswell as the Treehouse Trail and the Gratitude Gazebo by the river. Other things to note *Storm support info - Hotspringsrecovery dot com OUR ROAD HAS RECENTLY BEEN IMPROVED! We are located on the mountain above Hot Springs. Part of our road was the original carriage road and the historic Odd Fellows Cemetary is also located on the hillside behind the property. The last 1/4 mile of road is dirt with one steep curve near the very end. If you don't have 4wd don't fret, "just put it in low and go slow". When you approach this curve, keep to the outside/left side of the road and go steady and slow. If you don't gun it and you will have no issues navigating this part of the road. NOTE: IF WE HAVE SNOW OR ICE YOU WILL NEED 4wheel drive. Please consult the weather apps prior to arrival.
