Deer, fox, wild rabbits, hawks, magpies and the rare brown bear. The home itself is an 8000 sqft, light-filled GEM. Many Feathers Ranch provides the space and tranquillity for deep relaxation. The home’s interior has been beautifully curated by clothing designer Raquel Allegra, with thoughtful attention paid to both the furnishings as well as the empty spaces. So your mind may ‘catch a breath’. Arched windows and high ceilings also contribute to the peaceful and relaxing feeling of this special home. In colder months, radiant heating and wood-burning kiva fireplaces will keep you warm and the thick, polished pumice walls and high ceilings will keep you cool in summer. WiFi is available in and around the house only. The valley is otherwise without cellular service. The surrounding five acres are maintained bio-dynamically and evolve seasonally. The bulbs in the Spring are a sweet surprise of confetti colors and the changing golden leaves of the aspen and willow trees will take your breath away in Fall. Ponds and small waterfalls surround the property and add to the soothing soundscape in the warmer seasons. The large furnished porch off of the main suite is a comfortable spot to take in the wild sights and sounds of ravens, swallows, owls, hawks, deer, and humming birds, to name just a few.
