Beautiful brownstone apartment in Bed-Stuy, just 20 minutes from Manhattan. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, clean, and close to parks, shops, and restaurants. Guests enjoy a fully private upstairs area, with kitchen, bathroom, and living space. This is a Home-share w/ the host on site. To Book: Please read the FULL LISTING. Make sure your profile is complete w/ a clear photo, all verifications, and a bit of info about yourself. When you write, please share you & guest’s full names. The space Hi! To make booking smoother, please read the FULL LISTING 😊 and follow the below instructions: When you write, please share you & guest’s full names, and the reason for your trip. Make sure your profile is complete w/ a clear photo ( no sunglasses please) all verifications, and a bit of info about yourself. Thanku!! The Space This space is located on the top floor of a beautiful, sunny, historic brownstone on a quiet, tree-lined block in Bed-Stuy. It’s just a short 3 min. walk to the express subway and less than 20 minutes into Manhattan — super convenient! The neighborhood is safe and lovely, with restaurants, coffee shops, and wine bars nearby. This is a Home-share with an on-site host. Guests enjoy a fully private upstairs sleeping area, with access to a private kitchen, bathroom, and living space. Sleeping Areas The bedroom is spacious, with a queen-size bed as well as a convertible chair-bed. In the LIVING ROOM, there is another queen-size futon that guests are welcome to use. Towels are of course included, as well as coffee… and whatever is in the fridge! The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, and guests are of course welcome to use it freely! The Neighborhood The neighborhood has some great bars and restaurants nearby such as Peaches, Chez Oskar, Natural Blend, and Saraghina, and some new ones have popped up that I haven’t had the chance to sample yet! The historic district has many beautiful brownstones to take in. We are not far from Prospect Park, Fort Greene Park, the Brooklyn Museum, Williamsburg, the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, and lots of other great locations. FOR DRIVERS 🚗 There is free on-the-street parking that is first come, first serve (PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT DESIGNATED PARKING!!!) These are row houses and do not have driveways or garages… although a few still have the old carriage house attached 🙂 Please pay close attention to posted alternate side parking signs (allowing for morning street sweepers). This means you will need to make sure your car is on the correct side of the street during street cleaning hours. 👉 Alternate side parking rules are suspended on weekends and Wednesdays, meaning your car does not need to be moved on those days. If you are interested in booking, please make sure your profile is complete w/ a clear photo, all verifications, and a bit of info about yourself. When you write, please share you & guest’s full names, and please be sure to review the house rules to make sure all is a good, happy fit for everyone! Thanku!! Guest Access This space is located on the top floor of an historic brownstone. Brownstones are ROW HOUSES (this is NOT an apartment building). If I am not able to meet you, I will provide check-in instructions before your arrival. I am nearby to offer assistance if needed, but also try to extend as much privacy as possible. Early Check-In / Late Check-Outs & Luggage Storage Early check-ins and late check-outs are generally not available, as the time between stays is reserved. While I know being able to have a place to store your luggage can be very convenient — and ideal! — early drop-offs or leaving luggage behind is often not possible. This is not about being inflexible or unkind. It’s simply due to the many variables that come along with each booking, including coordinating guests, housekeeping, and my own daily life commitments, meetings, and work schedule. All of this makes luggage storage and schedule adjustments more complicated than they may seem. If you need a place to store luggage, LuggageHero has been a lifesaver for me when I travel, with locations throughout the city — including one just a train stop away from the house! Please note: there is an extra fee of $75 for same-day reservations and evening check-outs, when available and confirmed in advance. Other Things to Note (Please Read!) Please note: this is not a property staged for rentals only. This is my lived-in home with my belongings that I am sharing, so please expect that. The house was built in 1905. The photographer, with his great camera and great lights, made it look so perfect. It is not 🙂 It has many blemishes and a long list of repairs and renovations that we are handling one thing at a time. If you are looking for a perfect home without any trace of its owner’s belongings — like my food in my freezer — this is not it. It may be best to book a hotel or elsewhere. Cats 🐈🐈 I have 2 cats that also live on the premises. They do not enter guest spaces (to my knowledge…!), however, for those with severe allergies, please note that cats are around. House Notes & Fees A $25–35 fee will be charged for ruined towels or linens. Please use disposable wipes or tissues for makeup removal, etc. PLEASE DO NOT use bath towels for any type of cleanup beyond your body — thank you! The house is over 100 years old. Please be mindful of volume both inside and out after 10pm, particularly in the hallway & stairway. For Families with Children I love children, however the house is not at all child-proof, so unfortunately it is not suitable for children under 5. Please also note that the space is not at all suitable for any indoor play — running, jumping, or shouting. Thank you!! If this feels like a good fit, I look forward to hosting you! 😊✨ Guest access This space is located on the top floor of an historic brownstone.
