The predominantly indigenous garden reflects our deep respect for the area and its biodiversity. Perfect for a family holiday or trip with friends, Shutters accommodates six guests. Walk down to the beach or the village amenities, or just relax by the pool. The space Spacious enough for the whole family without compromising on coziness. The bedrooms give you just the right amount of (closet) space and the open plan living room makes it easy for your whole group to spend time together. The predominantly indigenous garden is larger than usual for the area and is lusciously green. The delightful pool is well protected from the prevailing winds and summer sun. The property is 100% solar powered so load shedding has no impact. Combined with high speed WiFi access, this is an ideal venue for remote working. Guest access Scarborough is a small village, with everything within walking distance. The beach and the local shops/restaurants are approximately ten minutes' walk away. The entrance to Baskloof Fynbos Reserve is no more than three minutes from the house. Shutters has two parking spots. Scarborough is a safe town, therefore walking home at night (after a good evening at The Camel) is no problem. Home is well equipped and the hostess was fantastic. We very much enjoyed our stay. Tania (Jan 2020) - I loved everything about the property. Beautiful home with exquisite sea and mountain views. Clean non-overcrowded beaches better than most of the overseas beaches. Will recommend anyone to visit as I will definately.
