The suite is in the front part of our house, and does not have a real view of the lake. However, you can walk through our back yard and down to our lower lot and enjoy sitting by the lake for morning coffee, evening wine, reading a book, having a bonfire, see the moon, etc. Please note: we also rent out a Tiny Boat House and Tiny Boat that are situated on the lower lot on the lake. If we have guests staying there, you are still welcome to enjoy the the entire area, fire pit and chair etc. . We just ask that you be respectful of their space while you are down there. Guest access The entrance is the front door of our home where the guest porch is. When you come in there is a small reception area before you go up the stairs to your suite. Our downstairs has doors to this area that we keep closed when you are here to give you full privacy. You can come and go as you please. We live downstairs in the rest of the house. Other things to note The yard in the back of our home slopes down to Van Cleef Lake. The small lake is part of the Seneca-Cayuga canal system that is part of the Erie canal system. You can see the unique "double lock" at the far end of the lake.
