Description
Comfortable B&B at our Welsh bed and breakfast on the Taith Ardudwy Way path and by the Taith Cambria Way path in the Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri/Snowdonia National Park. The space We offer a comfortable double room in an old Welsh cottage on the Taith Ardudwy walking trail. You will have use of a private sitting room and sitting area on terrace in garden which is situated close to the Arto river. Breakfast consists of locally sourced produce and all freshly cooked to order. We like guests to feel they are self contained but we will be at hand to answer any questions about the accommodation, local amenities, walks and activities in the beautiful local surroundings. Garth Engan is situated approximately 2 miles outside Llanbedr village in the beautiful Cwm Bychan valley and within easy reach of the Rhionogydd mountain range and several sandy beaches including Mochras (Shell Island). The Ardudwy Way path passes right by our doorstep and access to the national cycle route (Route number 8) is nearby. Llanbedr is a pretty thriving village and has 3 pubs/restaurants and 2 village stores, outdoor pursuits outlet, hairdressers and a cycle hire shop. Also nearby is Harlech castle, Royal St. Davids golf club, various narrow gauge railways including the Ffestioniog railway and also the world famous Portmeirion village. There is ample off road parking at Garth Engan. There is a bus stop in the village (2 miles) and train halt (3 miles). We can pick up from either by arrangement. Guest access As well as the comfortable bedroom you will have access to your own sitting room where you can relax in front of the televison, make tea/coffee etc. In addition you'll have your own private shower room and we also offer drying facilities. Other things to note Small fridge in sitting room Please note this is a bed and breakfast and not self catering establishment.
