Feels Like Home

After a day of winter sports, hiking one of many nearby trails, a day in Yosemite, or exploring locally, enjoy the diverse variety of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, (or cook here) and relax at home to one of the many movie channels. Your private room is in a cozy home, 75 mi fr Yosemite, 45min to Pinecrest Lake, ski trails, 15min to the historic Gold Rush town of Columbia. We're on the Dragoon Trail, a walk thru the woods to an aerial view of town. Max 2 guests The space You’ll have full access to the home and yard, (other than 2 private host’s rooms). You will be a short drive to many attractions (professional theaters, Black Oak Casino, dancing, hikes, lakes and rivers, winter sports, wine tasting and more). In the warmer months, enjoy your breakfast and coffee on the back deck, listening to birdsong and taking in the flowers, or laze and read under the trees in the comfortable hammock in the back yard. For those of you who wish to come home and chill after a day of exploring the magic of the Mother Lode, you can relax in the massage chair while enjoying one of the many movie and music channels available. There is a comfortable queen bed in private room, (and a sound machine), and if you need additional sleeping arrangements, comfortable thick memory foam sleep pads are available. There is one shallow step onto front porch, and two steps down with a rail into yard from back deck. There is ample street parking available but when host is out of town, guests may use the driveway. Note: There are 2-3 friendly short-hair indoor-outdoor cats in residence. We welcome those of all backgrounds and will do our best to make your visit to the remarkable Mother Lode a comfortable and memorable one. Guest access You’ll have the use of the entire home: kitchen, with coffee maker and many small appliances, dining area, living room, (TV and movie channels), and the back deck. You’ll have your own bathroom, (other than the shower shared with the host, who will work with your schedule) During your stay Host interaction will be at the preference of the guests. Host will live in the home some of the time and when away, host or representative will be available by phone 24/7 for questions. There will be written recommendations of local restaurants and attractions, as well as professional current events calendars. There are also written directions in the home for finding what you need, use of appliances, wi-fi password, contact number, etc. Other things to note Stay can be extended to longer term with agreement between host and guests No indoor smoking
