Beautiful split level home surrounded by trees - a quiet place in the city just 2.7 miles from downtown Ft. Worth. Our Cottage Room is uniquely comfortable complete with a full size bed, dresser, hanging rack, private bath w/ shower, free WiFi, and a Roku devise with many subscriptions. The space Our home is located less than one mile from Interstate 35W which provides easy access to Fort Worth's greatest attractions, only 2.7 miles away from the heart of downtown. Tucked into the 1920s-era Oakhurst Historic District and completely surrounded by mature trees, our split level “Treehouse" has a peaceful quiet feel in the heart of the city. Fort Worth's finest attractions are within a 5 mile radius including: the Historic Stockyards, West 7th, Fort Worth Convention Center, & Sundance Square. The close proximity to downtown Fort Worth also provides easy access to some of the best dining and night time entertainment around. We are a young Husband & Wife team who love the Lord and each other. *We recently rescued a little black short-haired kitten who doesn't get anywhere near the guest bedrooms or bathrooms. *We have a terrier mix named Tyrion who stays in our room or sometimes on the balcony when we're gone for the day. He's a love bug, but a rescue...pet him at your own risk! Guest access When you arrive, you'll enter through the front door. We're often out of town on the weekends, but once you book you'll have access to our self check-in instructions and keyless entry. Common areas for your use include parking on the right side of the circle driveway, an upstairs living room with entertainment center, full kitchen complete with all the fixin's, laundry room downstairs and a balcony accessible off the living room perfect for sipping coffee in the mornings or a nice cold beer or glass of wine in the evenings. During your stay We are generally available during the week, but are often traveling on the weekends. We keep our Guidebook in your room which includes all the info you'll need to navigate the house and the city. We're always available by phone! Other things to note We are often traveling on the weekends, please be aware you might be left to check-in on your own (we provide detailed instructions) and you might be sharing the house with another guest on the opposite level. We have another room listed on AirBnB,– both with their own private baths. Your room is on the upper / entry level and the other is on the lower level.
