Malindi: Beautiful 1 bedroom villa sleeps 2

Malindi is a coastal town on Malindi Bay in southeastern Kenya, on the Indian Ocean. My two 1-bedroom villas are in Karibuni Villas & Resort, Mambrui, 14 km (15 min) from Malindi town and 18 km (20 min) from Malindi Airport. The resort has two outdoor pools and a beach access. A car with driver is available for flat-fee airport/SGR transfers and local trips; driver is mandatory (insurance/liability). Please book in advance. Mambrui Sand Dunes; a local attraction are a walking distance. The space Well-furnished, self-contained 1-bedroom villas/cottages in a secluded and very quiet area — that’s part of the magic and what makes this place so special. Private transportation with a driver is available at your cost (please book in advance). I highly recommend doing your basic shopping before or upon arrival so you can settle in and relax straight away. This can also be arranged with your airport (Malindi or Mombasa) or SGR (Mombasa) pickup. Otherwise, all you really need to bring are your clothes and time to unwind. Welcome / Karibuni to Mambrui! Guest access You will have access to the whole property: 2 in ground pools, access to the beach. Lounge and restaurant. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. You will find a 24-hour front desk, a shared lounge. You can play tennis, ping-pong, darts, Cards etc at the resort. Other things to note Internet & Electricity Internet is at your own expense. We load a small starter bundle for you on arrival so you can get online immediately. After that, you’ll need to top up as you go according to your own usage (we or the caretaker can help you with this). Please be advised: this is coastal Kenya, and power cuts do happen from time to time. The resort runs on backup generators, but it can take a little while for everything (including internet) to come back up and stabilize. For this reason, no refunds or cancellations are offered due to internet or electricity issues. If you need to be continuously online or require a very stable connection for work, please keep this in mind when choosing the property. ⸻ Caretaker & Housekeeping My caretaker comes every day to inspect the premises and water the garden. She is primarily there to maintain the exterior of the villa. • She will come in every three days to change your bed sheets and towels. • You are welcome to ask her for extra services at an additional cost, such as: • extra house cleaning • laundry • washing dishes • cooking simple home-style meals If you’d like any of these extra services, please arrange it directly with me or with her so we can agree on the schedule and fee.
