The Atelier is a charming cottage inspired by an artist'studio. It’s a private, peaceful space— small yet fully equipped for solo travelers or couples (4 guests can sleep, though snugly). It offers a queen bed with a twin trundle & a foldable cot in the closet. Step outside to a lovely frontyard with a comfy sofa under the avocado tree — perfect for relaxing. Plenty of free street parking. The location is right in the heart of Miami, between Little Havana & Brickell, close to all attractions. The space My house is located in an area of Miami where duplex properties are allowed. Many Spanish-style houses built in the 40s in this area have two living units. The one in the back, normally used to be the maid quarters, has access from an alley. You can rarely find alleys in Miami. "The Atelier" is s small loft-like cottage behind my house with the entrance facing the alley. So it is very quiet and private; and located far enough from my house. An artist once lived there and left some of her artsy "goodies". The Atelier is inspired by her. Colors, frames, paints, textures, brushes, and artwork fill the walls. I truly enjoyed renovating this cottage because it brought the artist inside me. "The Atelier" is the perfect small size studio for a solo traveler or a couple. (4 can sleep, but snuggly). At the end of your day exploring Miami, you can enjoy a bubble bath in the tub or a drink in the backyard equipped with a small grill (Mosquito spray is a must!). Plenty of free street parking available. This cottage has it all: Privacy, pet-friendly (fees apply) TV, cable, WiFi, outdoors, and more. This is the best location in the City of Miami (It is not Miami Beach). Everything is like 5 to 10 min distance. In fact... if you see the map... we are exactly in the middle of everything. We allow pets. We charge a non-refundable pet fee that varies ($80-$100) depending on the type of pet. and size.. Ask us before booking. ADVICE: Miami is a tropical weather city. Therefore, mosquitoes are endemic and part of the environment all year around. Mosquitos love hotels just as much as they love private homes. We provide sprays, repellents, and citronella sticks... but we can't guaratee a mosquito-free stay. If you are sensitive or allergic, please bring appropriate apparel and medication. Guest access Check-in starts at 3pm. There is a keyless padlock. We will provide combination code the day of your arrival, not before because we change the code with every guest.
