Sweet private sanctuary only 7 min. to the heart of downtown. Private entrance, fully-loaded kitchenette, super comfy queen memory foam bed and mattress topper. Recently renovated with full private bathroom, separate living area with couch, A/C & dine-in table. Fully fenced back yard and hot tub access under large trees. Dog friendly w/ access to disc golf putting & badminton. Private driveway w/ off-street parking. 5 min to Blue Ridge Parkway, and 5-10 min drive to almost anywhere in town The space Sleeps up to three people comfortably (perfect for a small family or a couple plus one friend). Clean and recently remodeled with beautiful cork flooring and two lockable private entrances. Recreational amenities include: badminton court, disc golf basket, hammock, fire pit, hot tub, screened porch, and chicken coop. Fresh towels and linens are waiting for you. Kitchenette includes mini-fridge, microwave, hotplate, sink, toaster, toaster oven, air fryer, cookware, plates, utensils, glassware, pour-over and also french press with organic coffee, tea, and the fixins. Wi-fi available with booster in the suite. Please note there is no tv. Guest access This is a ground-level mother-in-law suite attached to the main house, yet is completely self-contained and private. I live on the other side of the house with my two friendly dogs. You'll get a key to keep your belongings safe and there's a little lock box in the bedroom closet. Other things to note PET POLICY: $25 nonrefundable pet fee for any dog you plan to bring. Please let me know in advance of your stay if you intend to bring a dog. If you do not disclose and allow for us to prepare the suite for the dog, it will then be a $50 pet fee. The pet fee can be paid in cash, Venmo or through the air bnb app. I will allow one friendly and well-behaved dog to accompany your trip (so long as it is at least a year old, and that shots and flea/ tick treatments are up to date). Any damage done to the suite or furnishings shall be immediately reported and covered by you. Please no excessive barkers; it drives my dog to the brink of madness which in turn drives me to the brink... thanks in advance for understanding. COVID CONSIDERATIONS: We take it seriously and expect you to as well. We are using the sanitization and cleaning protocols set forth by the CDC, and even though it’s no longer a requirement, we are still maintaining at least 24 hours between reservations to air the space out. Any linens, comforters, and face masks provided have been cleaned and sanitized between each guest . We will limit our contact with you and wear masks when interacting (unless we can keep at least 10 feet apart while outdoors). If you don’t believe in science and common decency, this is not the spot for you. I want all my guests as well as my family to feel as safe as possible in these times. Once you book, please read the house manual and check-in procedures; they answer many questions in advance of your stay. Also: It is a shared driveway so please make sure to park all the way behind my house (take the fork in the driveway to the right). If you access the back yard, please keep the privacy gates closed at all times. (My dogs are curious travelers and I'd rather they stay safe at home). The hot tub is wonderful, and please make sure to turn the jets off when you are finished with your soak. I don’t provide a tv in the suite. But there is a wifi booster for you to bring your own devices. There are plenty of clean towels and linens for bathing, lounging and sleeping.
