Recently renovated, Afgan Lodge is located at Kashmir Point Murree, near Water Tanks and adjacent to Terrace Grill Restaurant. Kashmir Point is an entertainment hub with Food Stalls, the Safari Train, horse riding and an amusement park for kids. A pleasant stroll uphill takes you to Governor's House, or walk down hill to the hustle and bustle of The Mall. Hiking the scenic mountains is always an option. It has a truly unique location which offers being away from the rush and yet ready access to the entertainment hub of Kashmir Point. Built on 2 levels, Cozy Cottage has central heating for your comfort in winter. It has 4 rooms (double beds with spring or orthopedic "firm" mattresses as well as regular foam). 3 bedrooms are with attached baths that can sleep 6, while a common area /stair hall/ semi private space is included as the 4th room in the count, with 2 single beds, for a total accommodation of 8 guests. Two extra mattresses can be provided on payment ($10/person/night) for any extra guests. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for short stays, and the spacious lounge with a flat screen TV and a large terrace with a 180 degree view offer the perfect relaxing experience. The rooftop parking is by itself a very popular spot for admiring the view or having a professional take ones pictures. Other things to note What to do?? Begin your early, misty morning with steaming, sweet tea from your kitchenette and watch the clouds roll over the mountains as time slows down. You may decide to enjoy a lazy brunch and spend the cool afternoon chilling-out on your private terrace, taking in the sweeping views. A relaxing walk around Governor’s house could be your preferred evening activity. For dinner, you would be spoiled for choice at the Food Court with its 12 outlets serving everything from Pakistani to Chinese. A late night game of Ludo, Monopoly or Cards with your loved ones could be the perfect way to end your day, unless you decide to watch a movie on the flat-screen TV, or read a thriller as you curl up in your cozy bed.
