If you are looking for an authentic homestay with an amazing view of the Mount Yasur Volcano this is your place to stay! Set within the traditional village Imaio, you will be greeted by Anna, Newi and their adorable kids. You will have your own beautifully prepared tree house with a comfortable bed overlooking the incredible view of the volcano directly from your balcony. The space Breakfast is provided and you can have lunch and dinner in the village as well. The family itself will prepare it for you from locally sourced ingredients (700 vatu for lunch and 1000 vatu for dinner). Coming here is an adventure with many activities right at your doorstep. You can go to see the gorgeous fireworks of Lava at Mount Yasur volcano, make a round island tour with a local guide, try locally prepared Kava, see a custome dance show, swim in the nearby river, play with the local kids and hike in the rainforest area. Alternatively, you can relax, wander amongst the village and get to know the local community and their way of life. Guest access Guest have their own tree house or bungalow. There is a shared restaurant, kitchen and beautiful gardens. You are free to wander into Imaio village. During your stay We live very close to your bungalow, so we are always around to offer advise or assistance. However we also understand that you need time to relax and just soak up all the wonderful nature and scenery. Other things to note We can arrange your transport from the airport to our accommodation. It’s an adventurous drive through the rainforest in a very strong pickup including your first views of the volcano Mount Yasur (2500 vatu per person - minimum 2 people).
