“HeirloomHeArt”, in Candler, is a contemporary/countryish house with a comfortable, walkout, private apartment on the lower level. Your apartment, with eclectic decor, has its own front patio and sunroom. Out back, overlooking the rugged and heavily shaded back yard, is a deck and an eclectic garden. This Business Analyst and Journalist look forward to your visit! The space You'll likely be greeted by our sweet Georgia, our Shepard mix and probably never see Cyd the, much loved but "worthless", cat that owns us all! Asheville's mountain charm offers a diversity of pleasures that respond to a wide mix of tastes, frolic, and laidbackness. We are welcoming people and lovers of Asheville and North Carolina who enjoy ensuring our guests are comfortable. Guest access Lower level around the apartment and garden areas. Other things to note Our neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, so no parties, please. This is a place of calm and peace. Also, no illegal drugs! We are not close to mass transit. There are lots of fast food, restaurants and grocery stores close by. I work from home most days on the third level. This house does not have have a dishwasher as a part of the apartment rental. I do, however, provide disposable items for your use. ***IMPORTANT WEATHER NOTE*** My driveway is somewhat steep. Therefore, I do not clear or mess with snow and ice. I always make sure I'm home in plenty of time in adverse conditions or don't plan to go out. Should we have an iced or snowed-in condition, you would need to stay in until it clears OR park at the top of the hill and walk up and down from the house to the road at your own risk. Of course, we will accommodate you during such adverse conditions so you would not be without a place to stay no matter how we'd have to adjust. Having said all that about the weather, it is very rare but I want to make sure that expectations are set from the get-go. ***END OF WEATHER NOTE***
