Family friendly | Honeymooners | Couples. The space The villa has two large bedrooms and two bathrooms (one is an ensuite). Laundry with washing machine and dryer. Fully equipped kitchen. Open plan kitchen/dining/lounge surrounded by massive wraparound balcony with large outdoor undercover dining option. Native timber floorboards throughout. Wood cot and extra mattresses are available for children or extra guests. Hammock. Beach towels. Complimentary fresh seasonal fruits (papaya, banana, passionfruit and coconuts) from our gardens will be provided daily. Our friendly caretaker lives nearby and will greet you on arrival (Seni makes delicious traditional Fijian food). A house cleaner can be organised for you and Seni is happy to cook local dishes or source local produce for you from the market such as seafood and vegetables (for a very reasonable local rate paid direct to the cleaner and Seni). The property is owned by PK Simpson whose family first settled in Savusavu over 100 years ago. PK now resides in Sydney, Australia and has made Villa Mumu available so that others can experience the paradise where he spent his childhood. Guest access Guests have access to the house, private beach, rock pool and 7 acres of private land on the peninsula. Starlink satellite internet with unlimited data for video streaming and WFH vacations. Other things to note We are located approximately 20 minutes drive from Savusavu town and airport. Our usual taxi driver (Junior) can be organised to pick you up from the airport and can double as a local guide during your stay. There are also rental car companies in Savusavu. Numerous grocery stores, banks, restaurants, bakery ect are in town.
