The space 🏡🏠 Home is 13 years old. 🛏 Private bedroom with full/double size bed 🛁🚿🚽 Private bathroom with tub/shower & detachable shower wand 🪒🧴🪥 Linens, towels/washcloths, hair dryer, straightener, & some spare toiletries are available. 🧥🥻👖Closet is a small walk-in with space for a few hanging pieces, a shelf, & some floor space; hangers are provided. 🖥💿📼📺 32" flat screen TV in room with Roku, DVD player, & antenna. Many streaming apps available on the Roku, but no cable/basics are available, except what the antenna picks up. (Guests must login to streaming apps with their account(s).) 📺🙋🏽‍♀️🐕 Big screen TV in living room can be viewed with host, if you like what's playing. 🐕🐶🔉🐾 Small dog lives on premises. She is pretty well behaved, but does love to play, run, jump, and talk...aka bark. She doesn't understand "inside voice," so she can be loud, but really is just wanting your attention. If you will get down on her level and play with her, she will be your new best friend. 🌅🌠🌞☀️🌜🌙 Front porch seating, backyard patio 🍽 Dishes and utensils located in kitchen, along with breakfast bar & stools. 🥞🧇🍬🧃 "Breakfast" consists of a variety of pre-packaged snacks, oatmeal, pancake mix, & shake mixes from which to choose, as well as frozen biscuits. Bottled water, juices, and other beverages may also be provided. Items may vary, due to availability. ☕️ Microwave, Keurig, air fryer/toaster oven combo, electric skillet, blender, sandwich maker, waffle maker, donut/biscuit maker, microwave rice cooker, cookware & utensils, and personal shelf in fridge & freezer are available. ☕️🍵🫖🧋🥤Coffee bar with a plethora of coffee, cocoa, tea, & cider options is provided, along with a reusable K-Cup & filters, if you'd like to bring your favorite flavor(s)! 🫧🧺👔💲 Laundry access may be available for an additional fee. It is recommended to use the local post office, UPS Store, office supply store, or other postal store, if deliveries are needed. ✅️DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, InstaCart, & local food/grocery deliveries are okay!✅️ *** The home does have a security system which has motion sensors (one in the living room & one on the front porch facing the door) but there are no cameras &/ recording devices on the premises. It is preferred that guests not use recording or interactive devices on the premises either (such as Nests, Alexas, Google Homes, etc.), but if you would like to, please review with host first to see if it may be allowable on a case-by-case basis. Guest access Nearby/within walking distance to KCUMB Medical & Dental School-Joplin Campuses, restaurants, grocery stores/Walmart, and three parks. Short drive to Freeman West (also within walking distance), Freeman East, & Mercy Hospitals, the Interstate (I-44), Downstream Casino, downtown Joplin, MSSU, the mall and theater, and many other areas. During your stay As much or as little interaction as desired. Other things to note ***There is a single street spot directly in front of the house which is almost always free; this is the preferred spot for guests to park. In the event that spot is taken/vehicle doesn't fit, guests may park as far to the bottom right of the drive as possible, or at the end of the street (~1/2 block). ***Small dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis. An additional fee may be required, if extra cleaning is needed after checkout, including due to shedding. ***A $50 cleaning fee will be charged for guests who show signs/symptoms of being sick, due to the extra time/supplies needed to do an enhanced deep cleaning/sanitizing. When guests appear sick, I double sanitize all areas, to ensure the safety and wellbeing for future guests, as much as possible.
