The Eco Treehouse is a unique and exclusive tree house nestled in Mango tree tops with gorgeous 180 degree views of Mt Kenya and the Aberdare Range. It has been constructed from an old reclaimed wood cabin and offers modern amenities with two ensuite bedrooms, sleeping 4 adults and an open plan living dining and kitchen area with a fully functional kitchen made out of local olive wood. Spend your nights stargazing and your days exploring the farm and surrounding activities. The space Please note there are two rooms that sleep x4 pax. Both rooms come with 1 queen bed suitable for 2 pax When you are making a booking please indicate the correct number of guests so that you get an accurate price quotation as the price varies according to the number of guests. There is a housekeeper available to assist with cleaning, washing up and basic cooking tasks. The treehouse is self catered and we recommend you bring your food and drinks with you as there is no decent grocery shopping in the vicinity. We provide a chef on request at an additional fee who can cook your ingredients for you. We are situated in a 500-acre mature fruit farm that specializes in citrus fruit, mangoes, dragon fruit, Miraa, and other exotic fruits. We offer ample activities with guided farm tours and fruit picking available on the property. There is also hiking, biking, and fishing within the farm. We have 11 resident ostriches that you can feed and walk with. The Eco Treehouse is situated within easy reach to outdoor adventures such as white water rafting in Sagana, Castle Forest Lodge, Chania Falls, and Ragati Forest. It is the gateway to the Northern circuit. For those that just want a weekend of relaxation, Eco Treehouse provides the perfect opportunity to sit back and relax. Guest access The property has adequate parking space and guests get guided tours on the farm. You will get to see various plantations from dragon fruit farms, pomegranate, mango, avocado trees, private dams, and a river that you can fish from. Other things to note We do not have WiFi but have strong mobile service on the premises We have a back up generator in case of power cuts that is switched on between 6am - 8am and 6pm - 10.30pm. There are snakes around the property but if you don't disturb them they wont disturb you! At night we have guard dogs on the property, under no circumstances must you leave the fenced house area at night time. In addition our own dogs are inside the fenced area at night, they may come and say hello Please make sure children are supervised at all times, especially around the ostriches.
