An idyllic view above "Baia dos Pescadores" (Fisherman's Bay). From its perch, 100 meters to the Indian ocean you can take in the whole bay as your eye is drawn to Bazaruto's trio of islands in the distance – the best view in Vilanculos. After a two-year long term rental, the property has once again become available to stay(June 2015). The 5 bedroom house benefits from the sea breeze that channels its way through the bay ensuring you stay cool even through the hottest of Mozambican summers. The space Casa Pequeña is a rustic holiday villa set amid natural coastal "Miombo" woodland, consisting of the main house and two separate en-suite units. The main house has a master bedroom and two separate rooms upstairs. In total, the 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms can accommodate up to 10 people comfortably. The living room and kitchen are open plan with patio doors leading out onto the wrap-around deck. There is no aircon in the main house as the sea breeze keeps it cool throughout the year! But fans are available. The two separate double units each have their own bathrooms and individual A/C units. Mosquito nets throughout and slatted windows allow the breeze to circulate through the house keeping it cool through the summer. Master Bedroom 180 degree views of the Indian Ocean This room has a king size bed, en-suite bathroom and plenty of cupboard space. Sliding doors open on to the wrap-around deck that offers panoramic views of the bay and the islands of Magaruque, Benguela and Bazaruto. Main Living Area Open, breezy and relaxed The open-plan living space is designed for entertaining and making the most of the views. Sliding patio doors open onto the wooden deck and the windows have louvres to let in the breeze. The kitchen is fully equipped and a central focus for eating and relaxing. Upstairs Bedrooms Perfect for the kids The upstairs bedrooms each have a double bed and an additional single bed and are also covered with nets. En-suite Units Comfortable and cosy The two separate units have their own bathrooms and both benefit from air-conditioning. The unit doors open to look out over the bay and ocean view. Guest access The whole house and gardens are exclusively available to guests. Other things to note To access the beach, it is a short walk down (100 metres) through the property along a pathway and then steps that will take you directly to the beach. Note: all beaches in Mozambique are open to the public. No driving on the beach is permitted.
