Shire Camp is a quaint and peaceful camp/lodge overlooking the Shire River in southern Malawi. Our property boasts 6 chalets for rent that include bed and breakfast. We have an open-air restaurant directly overlooking the Shire River. The restaurant offers an a la carte menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a fully stocked bar. The space Guests might catch a glimpse of hippos when they are not submerged in the Shire River while dining in our open air restaurant. There is ample seating overlooking the Shire River where you can choose to simply relax and enjoy the cool breeze from the River while reading a book, enjoying a drink from our bar or just taking it all in.
