Springfield Castle- East Tower

The East Tower is a beautifully renovated luxurious building. It has a beautiful courtyard & outdoor areas. When you rent the East Tower it is exclusively yours as it is only rented to groups not by the room. Low season nightly price is based on a 2 night stay. If you stay for 2 nights,3rd night is free in low season & the weekly rate in low season is €4600 Mid & high season week prices differ.April-Sept 7 night minimum stay & bookings run Friday to Friday. The space The East Tower is situated in the heart of County Limerick on a magical 200 acre wooded estate and is approached along a magnificent three quarter mile long avenue, lined with ancient lime trees. Springfield is a family owned business run by Jonathan and Betty. Betty's brother Robert and his wife Rita, Lord and Lady Muskerry live in South Africa but visit at least once a year as Robert has a keen interest in his family home and its restoration. The estate includes beautiful woodlands and an organic working deer farm. It is a historic castle where many battles were fought and for those who are interested Jonathan will give you a tour of the 15th Century Tower house adjacent to the East Tower .There are also woodland walks, with barbeque areas, and lots of lovely outdoor spaces. The East tower has open plan shared spaces with a lovely long sitting room and a very quaint pub,which we can stock with barrels of Heineken and Guinness for you. While you can cater for yourself while staying in the Castle we can arrange a chef to come in and cater for breakfasts, lunches and dinners if required. We produce a lot of fruit and vegetables in our chemical free walled garden and this produce is available for guests to buy. If you decide to enjoy a meal while staying the chef will use as much of the fresh produce from the garden as possible. Guest access When you rent Springfield's East Tower it is exclusively yours. There are forest walks, a tennis court, a pool table, table tennis, table football ,darts, croquet, boules, badminton and a pub which we can stock with barrels of Heineken and Guinness for you.There is a courtyard with a fountain, a soccer pitch, archery, BBQ areas, a bonfire pit, outdoor hot tub, sauna and cold immersion tub and much more.
