Loop Head Lodge

Set in the middle of the picturesque fishing village of Carrigaholt, The house is charming and spacious with Seaveiws and an extraordinary garden which  runs all the way down to the shore of Carrigaholt. The coastline of Kerry is opposite and can be seen clearly from the garden. Our beautiful home is situated 54kms from Lahinch Golf club 29kms from Trumps Intentional Golf links and Hotel The space The house is fully set up for our guests and we have tried to accommodate for their every need. There are 4 very spacious bedrooms, each with memory foam mattresses and new beds. Each bedroom is ensuite. Three of the double rooms have also an additional single bed, if needed. There are two main living areas set to the back of the house which are glass fronted  with french doors and floor to ceiling windows. The rooms run onto the back of the house into the garden. I am an avid gardener and have enjoyed creating a garden that can be enjoyed all year round. It is really the highlight of the house! The living areas are just a continuation of this. The garden runs all the way down to the shore where you can swim and enjoy the views even more. It is a boastfully scenic garden which runs right onto the mouth of the Shannon. Other things to note The house and garden make an ideal place to spend a seaside break away in Ireland, whilst being close to so many amenities and attractions of the Wild Atlantic Way, meandering through West Clare, guests can also opt to spend their days in the garden enjoying the ocean. Our guests love to enjoy the colourful gardens and we have hosted many varieties of events in the past. If you have a special occasion that you wish to celebrate in the house please let me know and we are open to hosting events like this and have done in the past. The setting is trully idyllic to watch the sun set over the mouth of the Shannon while celebrating with friends and family.
