The dining area has seating for four at an antique mahogany table. There is also a powder room on this level. The ground floor porch is a serene and pleasant spot to relax, surrounded by manicured gardens and direct access to the shared pool deck. Upstairs hosts the large master bedroom, with a king size bed, and a newly remodeled en-suite bathroom. A small outside deck offers extensive ocean and sunset views, with seating for two. This cottage is situated on Squires Estate, and surrounded by a lush garden which is home to many fruit trees, bougainvillea, hibiscus, aloe and coconut palms. Amenities include flat-screen cable TV, air conditioning, wireless internet (WiFi), complimentary toiletries, and off-street parking. *Please note: The house is not supported by a backup power generator. The town of Governors Harbour, a three-minute walk down the hill, has a charming collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking its historic harbour. Buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock, or visit the recently restored Haynes Library, which dates from 1897. There is also Friday Night Fish Fry, a weekly street/beach party that brings together tourists, second home owners, and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street! Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, and a medical clinic. Eleuthera is a little slice of paradise!
