The space We welcome you to relax in our new Blue Cottage located at the start of the river rafting trail. Enjoy your coffee in the heart of nature as you take in the panoramic views and echoing sound of the roaring river rapids below. Take a walk through our garden and farm or swim in the beautiful infinity pool as birds trill, flowers blossom and the river runs by. Within the beautiful scenery : the steps down to the river invite you to take a refreshing swim or set off on an adventure kayaking or rafting down one of the most exhilarating white water trails in the world! While nature offers you a pleasant stay our cottage provides a laid back lodging due to its facilities : warm water, electricity (generator &backup battery inverter), and well equipped kitchen. The house in detail : big living room with cosy couches and armchairs, bathroom (on ground-floor level), kitchen with dining area, open veranda with ample seating for lounging. Upstairs: mezzanine bedroom with two single beds and large master bedroom with a balcony with panoramic views overlooking the river nile. If the beds inside are not enough we offer a camping possibility (one tent provided) as we have two extra bathrooms outside. If you like to Barbeque you can do that out the front of the house in front of the river and eat outside in a covered veranda. All year round you can swim in the refreshing river or the infinity pool, go fishing or relax at the firepit area or sit in the 'G'n'T Tower' and enjoy the view, especially at sunset/rise. The special extra : the neighbours – you won’t get by without tasting some of their fresh products : fresh fish, milk, eggs and plenty fresh fruit and veggies on the adjoining farm of the cottage. Stressed out? Tired? Adventure seeker? or just Wanderlust ? This is the perfect place for you! Guest access The cottage is off the beaten track so we will share with you a map link after booking and Isaac the manager is available if you need any directions. We recommend our guests use a vehicle that can withstand off road conditions as the marram road can often be muddy, especially in the rainy season! Isaac can arrange transport for you from Jinja if you do not have your own car, at an extra cost. There is plenty of space for parking inside the compound. Isaac can also help with shopping, hiring private chef, taxis(private hire) /boda, white water rafting or tubing, quad biking and many other fun activities.
