You can stay on location all day in the jacuzzi and get that sense of calm on the deck with the wind blowing over the ridge and the bluebirds, orioles and hawks all chanting their songs. Yet, a short drive down the road has you roaring on Whitewater, speeding down a zip line, or trekking through the forest on bike or horse. The point is: it is up to YOU, and no one is there to tell you differently. Guest access Whole property - no worries about sharing with partial rentals Other things to note NOISE and PARTIES: The cabin is located in a private community, and there is a no-noise ordinance from 9 pm to 9 am, strictly enforced. There can be no late parties, loud music or yelling on the premises during these hours, since everything carries down through the valley to other community neighbors. There is a maximum of only 3 cars that can be parked overnight on the premises. TRASH: Typically, guests will remove their own bags and can take them to the Murphy Folk Center disposal area (about 20 minutes away - see directions and map at cabin). If you prefer not to carry it away, you can leave $15 for the cleaners to take it instead. This is an honor system and do hope that is taken into consideration. INTERNET: The Internet service is satellite (only type available) and speeds run similar to DSL. It is not like Fiber at home, and not recommended for constant video streaming or games. So that is why we offer many DVDs to choose from, or bring your own movies or grab a good book. There is a TV and DVD player in every room. Get off the grid so-to-speak! PET-FRIENDLY: Bring up to two (2) pets at no additional charge, 50 lbs or less please. BIKE-FRIENDLY: Garage to store your motorcycle, Tail of the Dragon only 1-1/2 hours away, offering a perfect day trip! HOT TUB: The jacuzzi is right on the property, outside the door on the lower deck. It seats 5 persons and has a waterfall feature, color LED lights, and a cover to keep it nice and hot. Please keep glass, sharp metal and bottle caps away from the spa. Our cleaners always strive to provide a safe environment for all and this will help keep issues to a minimum. Note, during same-day turnovers (coming in the same day as a guest is leaving), the crew may have to completely drain and sanitize the spa in order to have it crystal-clear for the next guests. Due to this, on these particular occasions, the hot tub will not always be at the maximum temperature when you arrive, and will take 8-12 hours to fully gain its temperature again. We apologize for this necessary requirement but again we want to provide top-notch cleanliness for all of our guests.
