Naima's House-Near Shela beach on Lamu Island

Sunrise, sunset and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean await you at this lovely house, 5-minutes from the beach. Shops around the corner. Delicious Swahili food abounds. Sunny, breezy, 3- bedroom home (sleeps 6) with lots of space and a garden. Great rooftop verandah with mini-fridge. Great wifi and work space. Huge, fully equipped kitchen. All rooms have ceiling and standing fans. This house comes with a full time staff/cook. The space The master bedroom with king size bed and ensuite bathroom/shower is on the 2nd floor. Electric hot water heater for upstairs bathroom shower only. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor-1 with twin beds and separate bathroom is in the hallway, right outside. 1 Queen size bedroom with private bathroom. Mosquito nets and fans in all bedrooms. The house manager, Justin (and/or his co-staff, Patrick) will meet you. They can cook your meals (you pay for all food), shop for you, make the beds and keep the house clean, all at no extra cost. They work an 8-9 a.m. to 5 -6 p.m. day. If you want them to stay later, you can arrange directly and pay them something extra. There is a beautiful 2nd, 3-bedroom unit (Naima's Upstairs) which can be booked for groups of up to 12 people, if available. Guest access You will get keys on arrival. Kenya requires that we keep photocopies of your Passport or local Kenyan ID. If you bring a copy with you it will eliminate the need to make a copy when you arrive. A full House Manual will be available on this site a few days before your arrival. There is a binder in the house with all of the same useful information. Other things to note Enjoy fresh fish and seafood and Swahili delicacies. Day trips for fishing, snorkeling and exploring the Lamu Archipelago can be organized by Justin.
