Welcome to our cosy, thoughtfully designed retreat offering comfort and space in Carrigart. Ideal for families, golfers, and groups of 4–6, this home provides a relaxed base for enjoying and exploring all that this corner of North Donegal has to offer. The space Our detached 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom holiday cottage has all modern household amenities including Wi-Fi, a 50" smart HDTV, Google Home, a modern and well-equipped kitchen with oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and washing machine. The spaces are open and bright, with warm colours and subtle decoration, for a pleasant and relaxing environment. Our house is a traditional Irish gable-style, with two en-suite bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom downstairs. Also on the ground floor, there is a reception area that opens onto an open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. Adjacent to the lounge area is a closed sunroom, with large windows and views of Mulroy Bay and Fanad to the front and the enclosed garden with views of Muckish Mountain to the rear. The rear area of the house offers additional parking space along with a patio area, a two-storey garage and around a half acre of lawned gardens, which provide an excellent space for kids big and small. The upstairs floor of the garage is a carpeted games room that has a pool table, multiple sofas, a Hi-Fi system, Lego and board games. The bottom floor of the garage is used for personal storage as well as for storing garden furniture and sports equipment, which are available to guests. This includes, - an outdoor table, chairs and loungers, - a football net, footballs and material for other sports (hurling, rugby, tennis), - kids golf clubs, - bikes (1 adult and 3 kids), - a one and a two-person kayak. Two bedrooms accommodate 6-7 people comfortably: Bedroom 1 - upstairs bedroom (double bed) with built-in furniture and ensuite bathroom with shower. Bedroom 2 - upstairs bedroom (double bed and 2 single beds) with built-in furniture and ensuite bathroom with shower. This year we have also renovated the downstairs bathroom and flooring - we hope you enjoy. In addition to adding solar panels to the house, taking steps to becoming more environmentally friendly. Therefore we would ask guests to be mindful of energy usage.
