Grace House sits on a knoll overlooking picturesque Southwest Harbor, in a great convenient location. The house features inviting and spacious living areas and charming, comfortable bedrooms. We welcome couples and families to stay at our gracious house and enjoy all the island has to offer. The space Enjoy the charming atmosphere of our Victorian era house. The sunny eat-in kitchen has a smooth surface electric range and all you need for a comfortable stay, including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, wand blender/mixer, crock pot, and a nice assortment of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. A vacuum is also provided. The separate dining room graciously seats six. The living room has two adjacent seating areas equipped with books, a television and Roku with Netflix, and a blue-ray player for your entertainment. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a full bath. Fresh towels and linens are provided. An iron, ironing board, hair dryer, and electric fans are available for your use. The utility half-bath is in the unfinished basement and is intended mainly for back-up use, but guests may use it as much as they wish. The laundry area is also located in the basement of the house. All of the main living areas of the house are available for guest use. Only the attic, back shed, garage, and a closet in the dining room are not open for guests. Guest access The driveway leads to ample parking in back of the house. Most of the restaurants and stores in Southwest Harbor are within easy walking distance, 1/2 mile. When operating, the Islander bus stops right across the street and will take you to Bar Harbor and most of the main attractions on the Island. Other things to note We will leave a house welcome manual with important information and guidelines about use of the house during your stay, and some suggestions for things to do and see while you're here, on the table in the kitchen.
