The house is located in a quiet rural area surrounded by a panoramic view of the stunning Icelandic countryside and mountains. It has an open living room and kitchen area, 3 bedrooms, bathroom with a shower, laundry room with a washing machine and a interconnected glasshouse with a seating area where you can admire nature and sip a glass of wine. The south-facing porch has a nice hot tub to enjoy. The entire house is heated with geothermal water coming from the nearby village of Varmahlíð. Guest access Guest will have the whole house to themself as well as the glasshouse. There is a garage next to the house which is not included in the rent. Other things to note The house is very well located in the countryside. Mikligarður is 5 km from Varmahlíð, a small village where you can find a grocery store with a restaurant, a local shop with Icelandic products, a public swimming pool and hiking trails in Reykjarskógur woods. 16 km north of Mikligarður is the town of Sauðárkrókur which is the largest town in Northwest Iceland (population of 2,612). There you can find shops, bakery, wine store, public swimming pool and museums.
