Spacious, modern 3 bedroom 2.5 bath town home close to downtown Truckee, I-80 and 89, the Truckee River, skate park, golf course and the bike path in a quiet and tucked away community. The space This is a jointly owned vacation home that has been available only for long term rentals in the past. As a result, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make a family meal. Vaulted ceilings, two fireplaces, outdoor BBQ, a large sectional sofa, full laundry, 55 inch TV with basic cable, DVD player w/tons of DVDs, and a 2 car garage provide plenty of space to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. This is a quiet community perfect for families or a few couples. Late parties and loud noise after 10pm is not permitted. Many of our neighbors reside in their homes full time and so being respectful is of the utmost importance. It is just a few minutes from downtown shopping, bars and restaurants (and is certainly walk-able if the weather is suitable). No more concerns about steep roads and/or driveways that are impossible to navigate during storms. Centrally located between Squaw Valley and Northstar resorts and about a 20-30 min drive to Lake Tahoe. Guest access We use the home intermittently for family vacations. Guests will have access to the entire home except for one closet in the second bedroom, which is locked and keeps our personal belongings. We ask that you treat it as you would your own. Other things to note Bear bins on the end of the cul de sac are available for trash and the community plows the streets and driveways when there is snow. Please only park in the driveway, garage and designated "free" spaces by the bear bins.
