The space Lakehouse is located a short distance off the n67 on the wild Atlantic way. The house is a two minute drive from the famous surfing beach of doughmore and trump int golf club. The towns of Kilrush, kilkee and Milton Malbay are approx 10 miles from the house location. Morrisseys bar restaurant doonbeg is located within a five min drive of the house. There are a number of small local shops and pubs all within a five minute drive. Lakehouse is a perfect base for visiting our wonderful sights in west Clare such as , Cliffs of Moher, Loophead Lighthouse, Ailwee caves. We are also just a 15 minute drive from the Kilrush-Tairbert ferry for travellers who may wish to visit the Kingdom. I am happy to arrange activities for all guests at an extra cost such as , guided walks, arran island tours, scattery island tours, dolphin watching, cycle hire, kayaking, horse and trap rides. We are also very fortunate to have a new whisky being produced locally and I am happy to arrange a whisky tasting experience at the site of production.
