Headwater Hideaway - Echo Summit - Cabin

Our cabin is located in a mountain biking, skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, and sledding paradise! Or just spend some quiet time enjoying the large deck, pine trees and peacefulness. It's a twenty minute drive to Lake Tahoe, just far enough away to escape the crowds but close enough to fully enjoy all its beauty. Our cabin is quaint and comfortable. A perfect retreat for couples, solo adventurers, and families. Be surrounded by nature and yet have all the comforts of home. The space Lake Tahoe (boat parking in the summer), Sierra at Tahoe and Heavenly Ski Resorts , Adventure Mountain, Echo Lake, Desolation Wilderness, and the Tahoe Rim Trail are all nearby. Guest access You'll find the cabin professionally cleaned with linens, towels, toiletries, dishes, glasses, cookware and utensils provided. There is a propane BBQ and a large table on the deck in the spring and summer. High speed WiFi is free and available throughout the cabin. There is hiking, biking, snow shoeing, downhill skiing, cross country skiing and a snow park very near the cabin. Some of the best mountain biking and hiking trails in the world begin just a few miles away. Cabin Located: 1.4 miles to Sierra at Tahoe ski area 2 miles to Pyramid Creek Trailhead 5 miles to Pacific Crest Trail 5.3 miles to Adventure Mountain-snow play area 16 miles to South Lake Tahoe 18 miles to Heavenly ski area 36 miles to Kirkwood ski area Other things to note **The main source of heat is a fireplace. Please follow the directions near the fireplace when starting the fire. Winter Use: During winter months we can get a lot of snow. Four-wheel-drive vehicles or chains may be required on Hwy 50 at times, and guests may need to shovel snow to get to the entryway, potentially a lot of it during big storms. This is a mountain cabin, not a motel! Check weather conditions and prepare accordingly. The community and and access road are plowed secondary to the highway and the driveway gets plowed during storm events. *BBQ is seasonal and not available during the winter months. **There is a spiral staircase-please use caution as this is the only inside access between the two levels. **All linens, towels, cookware and dishes are provided. **NO outdoor fires ** Only your registered guests allowed on property or in the cabin (6 people). Absolutely no unauthorized overnight guests. **Quiet hours are 10pm-8am
